INTRODUCING THE SQUIRTS!!!!!!

Last September, I decided to get a couple of kittens.  So Rob and I went to pick them up. That was a bit of an adventure in itself. We ended up driving about 45 mins out of the way when we went to get them, even though we KNEW where we were going. We eventually got there and picked up the little cuties. I named the tuxedo female, Pixel (a friend of mine had told me about that name and I filed it for future reference). The other one, a male tabby, i named Dexter, fondly referred to as Dexter-Maniac. They were sooooo teensy, i kept them in their own room for the first 3 weeks with occasional outings here and there while the others got used of them.  I had forgotten how funny kittens are! After all, Wicket is 7 already! Constant mews, exploring EVERYTHING and constant hissing from Wicket and Puffy. We were a bit leary of Gator dog, but he calmed once he got used of them. He LOVES kittens - finally someone to play with him! He was just a bit rough with them so I  kept a close eye on them for the first bit. They were only 6 weeks old so they were soooo tiny. Now all of them get along fairly well. They enjoy time on the CATIO. Wicket and Pix sleep in side by side kitty beds in the window. Dexter made friends with Puffy fairly quickly, but getting on Wickie's good side took some time. She figures SHE is the alpha since I moved so that's been fun. An alpha that is afraid of everything is pretty funny to watch at times. :) Here's a baby pics of them :)

Ooh...so cute.

We love having kittens about the place and the antics they get up to. When our two were tiny they used to make us laugh on a daily basis with all their capers.
